An ebike drivetrain consists of 5 main parts. Motor, front chainring, rear cog, rear hub and chain. All our Hunter, Switchback and K9 models come equipped with the strongest drivetrain in the industry.
1) Motor - Custom programmed Bafang M620 Ultra motor with 160 nm of torque. Or our new Switchback Beast with the 250 nm Bafang M630 motor. Both motors deliver the strongest and most reliable performance in the Industry.
2) Front Chainring - Steel narrow wide design grips the chain and is thicker and stronger than commercially available aluminum options
3) Rear Cog - Custom fabricated in Michigan. We have the only triple stacked steel cogs on the market. Wider, stronger and over 3x more stable. Providing the utmost strength while reducing wear on the hub and chain.
4) Rear Hub - Our new Bigfoot Hub was tested to 190nm. 100,000 engagements without failure. Over 3x stonger than the rear hubs used by our competitors.
5) Chain - We use the thickest and strongest chain available. Stronger than comparable derailleur sized chains. The chains we use are so much thicker, they won't even fit on derailleur drivetrain
