Climbing Rating - All our models are designed to out climb the vast majority of ebikes on the market. Climbing ability is the most common question we receive so we decided to breakdown our models

10- The best gear ratios and climbing on the market. We have customers climbing over 2000' of elevation with no peddling. Best suited for extreme steep terrain and heavier riders 

9- Excellent climbing. Better than 99% of bikes on the market

8- Very good climbing ability. Our original single speed bikes fall into this category, and we have videos climbing ski hills with no peddling

7- Many of the better climbing bikes from our competitors fall in this category. 1000w mid-drives with 9 speed derailleurs.

6- True dual 1000w hub motor bikes. Many companies advertise Peak Watts. Our Switchback Double Barrel is a dual 1000w Bafang hub motor bike. Awesome for a wide range of terrain but if your priority is climbing. You want a mid-drive.

5- The vast majority of 1000w mid-drive bikes fall into this category. Really not geared that great for climbing with 7 speed derailleurs. These are the bikes that are most prone to breaking chains because there is so much stress put on the chain by the high gear ratios.
